Airlie Gardens was the perfect setting for this modern chic fall wedding. One of our favorite details was the head table inspired by Vincent an Gogh’s Starry Night. Ayla’s bouquet was a combination of white hydrangea, garden roses and beautiful anemones. Not even a rain storm could damper this beautiful Wilmington NC wedding.

Ah, July, a month full of patriotic spirit, social gatherings, beach days, and color coordinated attire. It’s down right impossible not to fall in love with the excuse to embrace all things blue…especially this month! So, in honor of the coastal appeal of this timeless hue, July’s color inspiration is the ever-so-chic, always classic, navy blue! Let’s face it, this color is always on point—whether in event design or interior design—this classic color creates a variety of ideas with it’s universal appeal. Can you sense our stripe theme as well? The lovely Oscar de la Renta dress below was a second inspiration for July! Happy summer.
FIORE FUN FACT: Our whole team (literally, everyone at the shop) has a plethora of design & art experience, gathered from years of creative experience, so we’re always inspired by textiles, art, typography, color…so many wondrous things that capture our eyes as artists and we infuse into the designs. That, and a mega dose of happiness is what inspires us daily. Enjoy!

There is a reason the Juliet cabbage rose is so popular amongst our brides. This fragrant rose has the most exquisite petals, layered in delicate ruffles that exude beauty and romance. Our lovely September bride, Katelyn, tastefully chose this breathtaking rose as the main component to her timeless peach and white bouquet set among varieties of roses, peach hypercium, dusty miller, and rustic texture. Katelyn and Jeremy’s wedding was a surprise…literally! This lovely couple pulled off what most couples do not dare to try, a surprise wedding for all that attended. With an eye for timeless style and a color palette of peach & mint, it was a pleasure to design our sly and lovely couple’s wedding flowers, from the rustic infused twine details to the antique pink hydrangea centerpieces, this was one celebration worth waiting for!
What was our favorite design detail? You can probably guess by the intro, the beautiful bride’s bouquet. Designed to complement Katelyn’s stunning lace wedding dress, this bouquet takes the cake for timeless romance. Enjoy.

Did you hear the (color) news? Radiant Orchid is the official Pantone color of 2014…we couldn’t be more excited! There is something so enticing about the regal hues of purple and plum, combine that with a recent bride who called for this trending palette in her floral design and we were smitten! We’re pretty sure our lovely Bald Head Island bride, Christine, had no idea that her raspberry tones would be hailed the color choice of 2014, but it sure is fun to post her pictures the same week of the press release!
Christine’s bouquet was simply enchanting; blended shades of deep pink, fuschia and purple textured dahlias, roses and callas created a captivating blend of her wedding hues. Her keen eye for the celebration’s finer details, such as the linens and accent arrangements, fashioned a cohesive look to the festive day. What really took the cake? Our bride’s regal shades of raspberry set amongst Bald Head Island’s natural surroundings. Just look at that picture above with the sea grass’ soft wheat and purple/gray tones staging her bouquet- absolutely spectacular!
“A captivating harmony of fuchsia, purple and pink undertones, Radiant Orchid emanates great joy, love and health.”-Pantone. We couldn’t agree more, enjoy!

We’re a sucker for a man in a uniform; place him next to his glowing bride and bring on the tissues! Sarah and Dana’s fall 2012 wedding was one of timeless elegance and crisp, white details. The bride’s vision of a clean, sleek look was complementary to the couple themselves (literally, just look at them). Sarah’s round bouquet was bursting with a variety of roses and white ranunculus, as her bridesmaids carried white callas. The bride’s vision for ‘sleek’ was exemplified in the monochromatic white floral designs at her reception at the Country Club of Landfall. Understanding Sarah’s vision, and adding a touch of modern, we had a blast showcasing some of our most beloved flowers in glass vases to keep the room open and the look crisp. What was out favorite detail? Allowing each stunning, sophisticated flower to stand alone on display. This design detail allowed all the other design elements to ‘pop’ per say; just look at those chevron menu cards and those orchids…Simply Divine.
DESIGNER’S TIP: There’s nothing bland about white. Sarah’s wedding is a true example of creating a design to match the ‘feel’ of the party. We were able to keep the room airy and sleek by designing a monochromatic look and using varying glass vases for guests to see through. Her generous eye for detail (shown in the chargers, etc.) allowed her monochromatic vision to be a timeless showstopper. Essentially, we love a good design adjective.

Look at all this seasonal loveliness! We just can’t get enough of this fall bouquet from our lovely October bride, Catherine. Look at all that texture and subtlety in the altering shades of green. Catherine’s design vision of elegant, simple and harvesty left us giddy over the fact that this wedding would show why we love fall celebrations! Texture. Texture. Texture. Our elegant bride’s dress was the perfect contrast to our seasonal bouquet, it left this unexpected appeal of nature matched with sophistication (we loved it!) With the seasonal chic color choices of deep purples and a mix of greens, all of our favorite fall flowers came to the party, from purple kale (yes, we said kale), to hydrangea, to calla lilies, lavender stock and succulents. All these alluring fall flowers were designed to elegantly bring the outdoors in! The bridesmaids’ eggplant dresses were a great inspiration for autumn filled kale & hydrangea bouquets, as was the elegant satin tablecloths that were the perfect detail to juxtapose our harvest filled centerpieces. This wedding was simply sublime. Enjoy!
