Esther + Randy : Rustic & Lovely

October 11th, 2012

June 2, 2012 – Wilmington NC

The Atrium and The Balcony on Dock provided the perfect locations for Esther and Randy’s rustic and eclectic wedding.  Esther’s bouquet was made of Wax Flower, Thistle, Bells of Ireland and Veronica. She also provided antique family lace and broach for the bouquet.  Both the Bride and Groom worked to construct the paper crane back drop used during the ceremony.  Esther collected color vases from antique stores in NY for the reception.  The vases were filled with a variety of flowers including Bells of Ireland, Billy Balls, Sweet Peas, Thistle, Wax Flower and Stock Flower.

Congratulations Esther and Randy!

A special thanks to The Atrium, The Balcony on Dock and KMI Photography.

Allison + Aaron: Outdoor Fresh

October 22, 2011 – Supply NC

Allison and Arron left the hustle and bustle of New York City for a down home Coastal Carolina wedding. Being a professional chef Allison wanted herbs used throughout the arrangements in stead of traditional greenery.  Allison’s bouquet was made of Stephanotis, Orchids, Calla Lilies, Thyme, Sage and Mint. Wood bark wrapped vases filled with Hydrangea, Cornflower, Thistle, Blue Stock, Queen Anne’s Lace and Herbs were used as centerpieces.

Congratulations Allison & Aaron!

October 8, 2011 – Holt Wise House

Kristen planned her wedding with her future Mother-In Law Susan Howard. Kristen’s inspiration was a Pretty Southern Garden Party. The Holt-Wise House was the perfect location. Silver vases filled with beautiful orange and pink arrangements fill the house as well as the outside gardens.

Congratulations to Kristen and Scott!

Whitney + Steve : 128 South

October 23, 2011 – 128 South

128 South provided the perfect setting for Whitney and Steve’s vintage wedding.  Whitney was looking for a vintage farmer’s market look.  We loved her very unique bouquet, she chose herbs, berries and chocolate cosmos.  Sunflowers and billy balls in mason jars and vintage vases completed her look.

Joanna + Jesse

Airlie Gardens – April 22, 2011

These Ohio natives came to Wilmington full of fun and style and ready to tie the knot. Their vintage and eclectic aesthetic is so sweet and personal that it won the hearts of the blogging gurus at Style Me Pretty earlier this year.  One of our favorite details is the charm bracelet around the bride’s bouquet; it was handmade by her family!  The groom adds his own flare with brightly colored, polka dotted socks.  Joanna and Jesse brought sunshine to a rainy day and exchanged vows in a small chapel tucked away in Airlie Gardens.

Congratulations to Joanna and Jesse!

Special thanks to A Shindig Southern Event PlanningJacobus Photography, 128 South Events and Catering, and Airlie Gardens.
