Some weddings are too good not to share twice, and this lovely celebration is one of them. Just look at that coral color above —accented by the most charming wooden table number ever— we know you’d sit right down! From our beautiful bride to the final detail of the pale pink monogrammed menu board, this wedding was bursting with color and style. Our beautiful bride, Laura, delivered detail with a gush-worthy punch. Taking the soft, feminine elements of romantic coral and white blooms and accessorizing them with modernly natural textures of wood and burlap. The outcome was as breathtaking and as timeless as our bride and groom were themselves. What really caught our eye? It was Laura’s effortless chic style. That show-stopping hem of her dress was as ruffled as our beloved blooms and the “Mr. & Mrs.” chairs were simply sublime. Blissful.
DESIGNER’S TIP: A “Pop” of color goes a long way. Look carefully at the picture below, Laura gifted her bridesmaids with turquoise earrings. This is a great example, as is our incorporation of coral in the flowers, that a punch of color can still be subtle for a softer appeal. It’s in how you choose to use the color that will decipher its varying degree of soft to bold. Enjoy. We fell hard for this May wedding delight! There’s something so appealing about the delightful combination of yellow, navy and white. This color combo is hands down timeless, and consistently delivers a refreshing pop of color that leaves guests smiling. I mean, who doesn’t love a classic stripe on a ribbon accented with a little sparkle? With the bride’s vision of romantic and classic, the bouquet was designed in a clean palette of white and texture galore-incorporating large, lush flowers such as peonies, mums, hydrangea and ranunculus. Yellow was the reigning accent color for the wedding party’s boutonnieres and bouquets. But can you guess what left us smiling from ear to ear? The deliverance of detail of course. Understated, outdoors elegance was the aesthetic for our wood and hydrangea chuppah, as was the groomsmen’s nautical shoe choice and groom’s tie; it perfectly tied the look together! Did we mention how utterly sweet those flower girls looked in their halos of yellow flowers…love this.
DESIGNER’S TIP: Never forget the little things. Our savvy bride understood that the wedding party’s attire was the perfect accent to classically pull together her overlook look. This is a great tip in how coordinating your wedding party can be just as aesthetically pleasing as setting a great table.

Classic never goes out of style. N-e-v-e-r. Especially when a beautiful bride chooses an assortment of lush, fragrant white peonies, ranunculus and freesia, all accented delicately with a touch of green and bit of blue. Our lovely bride, Sarah, wanted a traditional, classic design to complement the couple’s style and the timeless appeal of the Landfall Country Club. The bridesmaids’ delicate blue dresses were a great inspiration for a romantic design of garden fresh, bountiful blossoms. Voluminous peonies were the perfect flower for this enchanting wedding. Sarah’s classic style was representative across the (party) board, from her beautiful dress and pearls to that jaw dropping china blue cake. This summer wedding was simply delightful. What did we notice most? The church doors and that elegant cake of course. You know we’re all about the details, and dressing the doors in classic, lush hydrangea wreaths was the best “Welcome” around. And that cake, where do we begin? Tall, china blue, scrolled filigree…stupendous! TALENTED VENDOR ACCOLADES: Photography: KMI Photography, Venue:Landfall Country Club

Psst…there’s a new color in town, trending all over the magazines and our brides’ Fall 2013 palettes, the varying shades of purple. We’re transforming the light & airy shades of stock, scabiosa (a delicate, tissue paper like bloom) to the deep, uber-chic hues of bold plums of dahlias, orchids and anemones into clap-worthy delights. This season calls for a mixed array of textures, varying shades, and a plethora of sophistication in bloom form. Purple has always exuded femininity, not to mention it looks fabulous in my dream Kate Spade Beau bag (yes, I added a pic below) or a deco violet scroll wallpaper, it’s simply divine. No wonder our brides are swooning over this palette. LOVE. LOVE. DESIGN.
DESIGNER’S TIP: Look towards interior design and you’ll find your wedding inspiration. We believe in “the vision” and looking at an overall color scheme in a room is a whole bunch of (fabulous) inspiration to transform into a palette, an inspiration and a look.
Modern Simplicity: Timeless can come in many forms. Keeping to a single bloom and/or placing it in an unexpected way, creates refined elegance. Bold Hues & Texture Galore: Look at those flowers above! You have all this gorgeousness mixed in deep shades that range from a true purple all the way to a cognac plum. Luxe, luscious, and utterly surprising. Wildly Romantic: Loose, lovely arrangements are the perfect look for incorporating an outdoorsy, wild flower look in subtle pops of purple softened by a mix of greens and pale shades of white. Classic elegance: Oh, how we love when blooms simply show themselves off. Tall groupings of tulips, draping over glass set the stage for understated elegance. As does a selective “pop” of purple nestled within the delicate texture of peonies. Simply, delightful. Drool Worthy Accessories: Ahem, please meet Kate Spade’s Beau bag…and it may not be a flower, but I could sure design a killer party around this lil’inspiration.

We are so digging yellow…why yellow?…because it simply makes you happy. This cheerful hue adds that perfect “pop” of color to every occasion. So, after a recent spring wedding- chalk full of sunshine yellow details- we knew it was time to shine some light on this great color and present a color story all about the sublime bliss of incorporating this festive color . Doesn’t it just make you smile?!
Yellow’s Color Story: Whether it be the main design inspiration or that perfect little pop of color in the details, this bold choice always adds the element of fun to a party. Blissful yellow was the main guest at Jessica & Brandon’s lovely spring wedding…even the sun came out to play. What’s the best thing about picking a color story? Remembering that your choice color comes in many, many great shades to choose from. We’re drooling over this trending Ombre style cake ranging from a soft shade of white to a buttery yellow hue. It’s so pretty, we wouldn’t even be tempted to eat it (maybe). Don’t you just love when you get an “eye full” of the unexpected? Whether it be the bride & groom or one very sharp-looking wedding party, we’re giddy over adding a touch of playful flair to a bold statement color like yellow. Divine. Divine. Divine. It’s all in the (yellow) details. Infusing your color story into the first elements your guests sees is just plain old fun, from the invitations to the wedding signs, creating a cohesive look is simply sublime.
…Oh pretty yellow, you’re so not mellow.

Calling all mamas...Mother’s day is this weekend and we love celebrating mom! So as a mom, I knew it was the perfect time to share some simple, stylish ideas that my fellow mothers would appreciate. See the bouquet above? It’s what I call ‘Pink Peonie Perfection’, this flower is stunning, strong and enchanting. So, it is no wonder why I feel it is a direct reflection of moms everywhere. Peonies are delicate but never frail, they compliment any fellow flower but can also stand stunning alone, and they are utterly endearing. Check out these ideas below and become inspired, there’s something for everyone…and remember, we’re always here to help. Enjoy!
1.) Simple & Sweet: Never negate how far a bit of color and pretty paper can take you, a simple bloom wrapped easily in a band of colorful, patterned paper makes for the most delightful presentation. 2.) Why, hello gorgeous. This astounding amount of tulips (just a few bushels), set in one color palette and a galvanized water bucket, makes anyone mom wish to stay home and host all day long!3.)Cheerfully Dressed: Let mom wake up to color and whimsy with a band of ribbons cascading down a door. This is a great project for the pint size crew! And a fabulous surprise for mom. 4.) Garden Chic: Texture and abundance is key here, we love this birch vase (we use them a lot) full of all the wonder of a garden. And green thumb mama would swoon over this. 5.) A Card As Big As Mom’s Heart: So simple and enadearing! Take any color poster board, string (or ribbon) and let the kiddos have at it. Homemade can still come out chic if the design has structure. 6.) Cones + Carnations = Charm: Yes, we said it…carnations. This flowers doesn’t get much love, but as designers we know that a bushel of this very textured flower is brilliant for adding a bit of easy charm to decorative accents. These easy-to-make paper cones are a perfect example of thinking outside the box. 7.) Lastly… Nothing is a better treat than a Tussie Mussie (petite bouquet) of brilliant blooms for mom. How special would it be for her to receive a mini version of this bouquet we made below? There’s still time to create something special for mom, hopefully these ideas will inspire you a bit. We’re busy on the design floor building, creating and constructing some mighty pretty arrangement all in the name of (Mom) love if you need some help!
Happiest Mother’s Day wishes to all the lovely moms everywhere.

Inspired by our recent feature on the adorable blog “Every Last Detail” (and standing knee-deep in clouds of white hydrangea and bright green floral galore) this week’s post is all about this popular color combo’s ability to perk up every lovely detail. There is no doubt, nature’s green and white hues put a smile on every guests’ face...time after time.
1.) Nothing dresses a door better than an abundant hydrangea wreath. Charm….Charm…Charming!
2.) Ooooh, this lovely mix of orchids, freesia, cabbage roses, calla lilies and spray roses, accented by tiny pops of green, is the perfect presentation of divine elegance.3.) “Mums” the word on modern meets striking. 4.) Charm and contrast are at the forefront of this farm fresh design as bells, stock, ranunculus and hydrangea compliment the outdoorsy texture of pine and burlap.5.) It doesn’t get sweeter than this, green orchids truly do create the most charming halo for little flower girls. 6.) Who says wreaths on cars (or golf carts) are only for Christmas? We absolutely adore this over sized, very fun detail.7.) Never negate the timeless appeal of big blooms, abundance is never out of fashion when it comes to flowers (wink). 7.) This bouquet is a vision of timeless texture, perfectly fastened with a hint of tradition. 9.) Let’s not forget how appealing a well dressed groom can look dressed sharply in a charming array of spring flowers.
10.) Magnolia leafs are the perfect border to any door wreath, exuding sophistication and a boat load of southern charm. Oh, the appeal of white and green…It truly is one heck of a cheerful combo!
