Traveling from Louisiana, this couple chose Wrightsville Manor to be the perfect destination wedding. An intimate wedding party of 75 gathered to celebrate Will & Jill on a June Sunday afternoon before sunset.
Our favorite part of coordinating this wedding included the flow of the evening. As the guest arrived, they were greeted by the Bride & Groom for cocktail hour. The guest were able to enjoy hors d’oeuvres, drink delicious cocktails, and mingle before the ceremony began. After the ceremony, the guest continued to the reception for dinner and a night of dancing!
The florals were soft with white, ivory, and trailing greens. Details were the key to this design. The focal for the reception included a lush trailing mantle with pops of seasonal white blooms with a stunning sweetheart table. Scroll below for photos and vendor love!

If you are able to experience the walk through wedding row, DO IT! We had the privilege of planning and designing The Atrium this year for the 2018 show in January. Side note for unfamiliar readers: Courtyards & Cobblestones is a wedding show in Wilmington, NC that allows brides, newly weds, families, or women on a mission for a bomb ladies night, to walk through seven different completely styled wedding venues. Not only are they “styled”, they are mini wedding receptions in itself! From florals, appetizers, bar drinks, desserts, signage, decor, lighting, rentals, to music… each venue HAS IT ALL! So what’s the catch? Get this… there is no catch! Better yet- each marvelous genius that contributed to create the space is there for you to chat with and connect! Yes, this is a visual wedding shopping spree.
Our theme this year was celebrating Southern North Carolina Tables. Given that the majority of our clients are traveling to this beautiful city for the perfect destination, we chose to highlight reasons why the drive/flight is worth the hassle. Lush greenery garland lined the ivory drapery as guest walked into The Atrium, followed by an all white floral chandelier hanging asymmetrically above the welcome table. The guest continue to walk through the space as they are approached by completely set and designed guest tables. The florals of each table shared a variety of styles to complement both rectangle and round tables. The visual of tall verses short arrangements were available as each table seemed a little different. We worked hard to accommodate a visual for all approaches for everyone to find the perfect fit. As you continue to experience the designs you are enjoying delicious shrimp and grits, mini blueberry pies, and to wash it all down- the stunning bar setup serving NC coconut mules. Every North Carolinian’s dream.

As a leading florist in the Wilmington area, Fiore Fine Flowers is proud to have been a part of the Courtyards & Cobblestones premier wedding event this past January. We joined a team of talented wedding professionals this year at the City Club of Wilmington to show and tell about all of the latest floral designs and trends for the upcoming wedding season.
We were fortunate to meet with so many other talented minds that make up the wedding industry at this event. We also gained insight from many brides-to-be, to tap into some of the different visions brides have for the 2016 season. We all had an amazing time!

Some weddings are too good not to share twice, and this lovely celebration is one of them. Just look at that coral color above —accented by the most charming wooden table number ever— we know you’d sit right down! From our beautiful bride to the final detail of the pale pink monogrammed menu board, this wedding was bursting with color and style. Our beautiful bride, Laura, delivered detail with a gush-worthy punch. Taking the soft, feminine elements of romantic coral and white blooms and accessorizing them with modernly natural textures of wood and burlap. The outcome was as breathtaking and as timeless as our bride and groom were themselves. What really caught our eye? It was Laura’s effortless chic style. That show-stopping hem of her dress was as ruffled as our beloved blooms and the “Mr. & Mrs.” chairs were simply sublime. Blissful.
DESIGNER’S TIP: A “Pop” of color goes a long way. Look carefully at the picture below, Laura gifted her bridesmaids with turquoise earrings. This is a great example, as is our incorporation of coral in the flowers, that a punch of color can still be subtle for a softer appeal. It’s in how you choose to use the color that will decipher its varying degree of soft to bold. Enjoy. Psst…there’s a new color in town, trending all over the magazines and our brides’ Fall 2013 palettes, the varying shades of purple. We’re transforming the light & airy shades of stock, scabiosa (a delicate, tissue paper like bloom) to the deep, uber-chic hues of bold plums of dahlias, orchids and anemones into clap-worthy delights. This season calls for a mixed array of textures, varying shades, and a plethora of sophistication in bloom form. Purple has always exuded femininity, not to mention it looks fabulous in my dream Kate Spade Beau bag (yes, I added a pic below) or a deco violet scroll wallpaper, it’s simply divine. No wonder our brides are swooning over this palette. LOVE. LOVE. DESIGN.
DESIGNER’S TIP: Look towards interior design and you’ll find your wedding inspiration. We believe in “the vision” and looking at an overall color scheme in a room is a whole bunch of (fabulous) inspiration to transform into a palette, an inspiration and a look.
Modern Simplicity: Timeless can come in many forms. Keeping to a single bloom and/or placing it in an unexpected way, creates refined elegance. Bold Hues & Texture Galore: Look at those flowers above! You have all this gorgeousness mixed in deep shades that range from a true purple all the way to a cognac plum. Luxe, luscious, and utterly surprising. Wildly Romantic: Loose, lovely arrangements are the perfect look for incorporating an outdoorsy, wild flower look in subtle pops of purple softened by a mix of greens and pale shades of white. Classic elegance: Oh, how we love when blooms simply show themselves off. Tall groupings of tulips, draping over glass set the stage for understated elegance. As does a selective “pop” of purple nestled within the delicate texture of peonies. Simply, delightful. Drool Worthy Accessories: Ahem, please meet Kate Spade’s Beau bag…and it may not be a flower, but I could sure design a killer party around this lil’inspiration.
